Frequently asked questions

Can I use Money Budget without signing in?

Yes. You can start using it on your current device. Sign in if you want to join a group or access your data on multiple devices.

Is Money Budget free to use?

Yes. Basic income and expense tracking is free, and you can try Premium free for 30 days.

What does Premium unlock?

Premium unlocks budget management, financial analysis, AI receipt scanning and group expense management. Monthly and annual plans are available; there is no lifetime purchase.

Can I access my data on multiple devices?

Yes. Sign in with the same account to access your data on iPhone and iPad.

Can I use it with family or a group?

Yes. A group owner can invite members by email or group code. Join requests made with a code require owner approval, and the owner can manage members and invitations.

Can I use the app offline?

You can view some previously loaded data while offline. Entering transactions offline and syncing them automatically later is not currently supported.

Does it support multiple currencies?

Yes. The app retrieves an exchange rate from the system when conversion is needed. Exchange rates cannot currently be edited manually.

Are recurring transactions created automatically?

Yes. Recurring expenses are created automatically according to the schedule you set.

Which devices are supported?

Money Budget supports iPhone and iPad.

Which languages are supported?

Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French and Spanish are supported.

This policy explains how personal information and data are handled by the app “Money Budget” (“the app”).

Information we handle

Account and authentication information

You can use the app either by signing in to an account or without signing in. If you choose to sign in, we process the information needed to authenticate you and provide account features.

Finance data you enter

The app handles finance data you enter, such as transactions, categories, budgets, balances, notes, recurring transactions, assets and liabilities. This data is stored on servers so that the service can be provided.

Photos and camera

The app requests access to your photos or camera only when you choose to select or take a photo for a supported feature. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

How we use information

We use the information we handle to:

  • Authenticate accounts and provide app features.
  • Store, display and manage the finance data you enter.
  • Provide household group-sharing features.
  • Prevent abuse and maintain the security of the service.
  • Respond to support and privacy requests.

Data storage and security

Finance data is stored on servers. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest and is handled using appropriate security safeguards.

Processing by third parties

External service providers used to operate the app, such as cloud infrastructure, authentication, notification and payment providers, may process data only to the extent needed to provide their services. Except where required by law, we do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes.

The app contains no advertising and does not track users for advertising purposes.

Sharing inside a group

If you use a group (household sharing) feature, finance data added to the group may be shared with other group members according to the feature and its settings. Do not add information to a group if you do not want it shared with its members.

Requests concerning your data

You can delete your account from within the app. You may also ask to review or correct stored personal information by using the contact page.

The app does not provide a finance-data export feature. Deleting an account or data may make it unrecoverable.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscription payments are processed directly by the App Store. The app does not collect or store payment details such as credit card numbers.

Children

The app is intended for users aged four and older. Children should use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s functionality changes. If there is a significant change, we will announce it in the app or on this website.
